The Great American Trailer Park Musical Delays Opening to September 27

The Great American Trailer Park Musical centers on what happens when Pippi Orfeh, a"stripper on the run," comes between the Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie Kaitlin Hopkins and her tollbooth collector husband Shuler Hensley. The cast also includes Marya Grandy, Linda Hart, Leslie Kritzer and Wayne Wilcox.

The musical features music and lyrics by David Nehls and book and direction by Betsy Kelso. It began previews at Dodger Stages on August 20. The Great American Trailer Park Musical was originally expected to open on September 15, but its official bow was first delayed until September 22 and now to September 27.
